Innovation? Cit in universities? Understanding of Researchers from a Public University in Southern Brazil

【 摘 要 】

The purpose of this study was to check with doctorsto teachers related to Regional University ofBlumenau (FURB), which the understanding of innovation in several areas of research and what themost important features of a Center for Technological Innovation (CTI), and check the interest in pplied research projects. The research was conducted through electronic questionnaire, composedof open and closed questions, with 73 respondents.The results demonstrated a provision forinteraction between universities and companies. Bysubmitting your concept of innovation, there isa variety of settings, going beyond the traditionaldefinitions related to goods and services, toinclude items such as new approaches and methodologies. Stands out, too, the fact thatresearchers are sensitive to social issues, considering the possibility of generating innovations toalleviate such issues. In the CTI, the explorationof potential interest in developing projects withthe University stands out as the most important activity, consistent with the fact that 71% ofrespondents have already developed work with businesses and that 83% are interested in this typeof partnership.
