【 摘 要 】

In literature, we can say that is the passion that drives the story and can sometimes contribute to its outcome. In the play A mulher sem pecado, Nelson Rodrigues discusses the passion of jealousy in the different way, because the role of the jealous one is up to man. In order to investigate how the reconfiguration of this passion occurs in the play, it will be done a comparison with the plays Otelo and Dom Casmurro, which show the male jealousy, as well as their respective main characters Lídia and Olegário, Capitu and Bentinho, Desdêmona and Otelo, pointing their similarities and differences.
