【 摘 要 】

Since 2014, the exploitation of LiDAR data from the Val-Suzon (Côte-d’Or) has made it possible to discover many sites preserved under forest, among which are the remains of Goa. These have been the subject of archaeological surveys and archival research. Through the confrontation and discussion of these data, the age and function of several structures could be determined. The site of Goa is likely a grouped settlement occupied at least since the 11th century and even earlier, with a church and a cemetery, which have been located. The forest context makes it possible to observe and analyze the parcels of land around the houses, which extends over a wide limestone plateau. All such data allow discussing the overall landscape evolution from rural settlement to forest reconquest during the key-period of the 11-12th centuries.
