【 摘 要 】
A new technology, vertigometry, is developed to qualify theseveruty of vertigo. It is based on videostimulation of patient withpanoramic images in horizontal and vertical planes, which ismodeling systemic vertigo. With the use of this method, directionand severity of rotating vertigo were determined throughdifferent-velocity videostimulation with panoramic images inpatients with vestibular dysfunction. It was found that positiondependentperipheral vestibular syndrome is characterized byhight velocity of visual vertigo, from 1116.3 to 149.5 /s, whilecervical induced vertigo is characterized by velocity of 31.9 to65.1 /s (p0.05). Patients with psychogenic vertigo could notpresent clearly the direction and intensity of their vertigo.
