【 摘 要 】
Biochemistry and related areas have several abstract concepts that are difficult to be understood. In this context, many educational innovations have been developed, especially digital games. Games have playful and motivational characteristics that encourage students during the learning process with a different way of learning. The objective is to present the creation and evaluation of the digital game "The Adventures of Kreber", which approaches concepts about the formation of ATP. The creation stages were: choosing the authoring system, creating the storyboard; prototyping, implementation and testing. The game was developed in the Game maker, including three stages, being evaluated by 19 students of a discipline of Biochemistry, through a questionnaire with principles of usability and gameplay. At each stage, the character (Kreber) should go through challenges and answer questions related to the theme, avoiding losing points due to arising obstacles. From the evaluation, it was verified that the game presented good usability and gameplay, as well as an adequate presentation of the contents. The students gave a positive feedback on the use of the game and also a reinforcement on the topics addressed in class that were highlighted in a playful/fun way.
