【 摘 要 】

A legal fantasy of the famous medieval jurist Bartolus of Sassoferrato presents the trial of the Devil who claims, before Christ, ownership on humankind. As his main title, the Devil shows the Book of Genesis. This essay offers a first attempt to link this legal irreligious fantasy with Bartolus’book De Tyberiadis, as recently described by Prof. Osvaldo Cavallar, and proposes consequently its geo-political reading.
