【 摘 要 】
The variety Dani was created at the Institute of Plant Genetic Resources, Sadovo, Bulgaria as a result of intervarietal hybridization. It belongs to Oryza sativa L.var. italica Alcf. During the period 2003 - 2005 the culm length is on average 73 cm. The flag leaf is short, erect type and dark green during vegetation. The central panicle is over the flag leaf, upright, compact with slightly bent down top and 15 cm length. The panicle is well-grained (about 190 grains) as the full grain number is at on average 150. The weight of 1000 grains is on the average 31 g. The grain (puddy rice) is with intensive straw color of lemma and palea, non-awned, without spots. It is elongated - R = 2.31. The preferable characteristics of new variety Dani are strong and non-lodging culm, the high and stable productivity and the high quality of milled rice.
