【 摘 要 】

During the first middle of the second century B.C. Rome conquered the helenistic kingdoms, heirs of the empire, which Alexander the Great had built. Thanks of them and the new relations, the greek civilization introduced into the roman soul, producing deep transformations, which permited to the romans the creation of a own culture. The roman aristocracy was the social group, who managed the reception of new ideas and led them to the rest of the society. The biography of five of the most important roman politcs from the second century might be the best way to see the whole process.
