【 摘 要 】

This paper aims to analyze from a multidisciplinary perspective Providence (2009) by Juan Francisco Ferré. This work is far from Spanish models novelistic tradition to draw on elements and aesthetics of American fiction. Providence can be understood as a series of variations on the American campus novel juxtaposing opposite’s literary codes, and excessive work that plays with intertextuality and self-reflective, exploring new paths for Spanish narrative, from the reflection on the new problems of mediated and hypertechnical reality.
