【 摘 要 】

Subjects and goals: Using renewable energies such as solar energy instead of fossil fuels in electricity generation, in addition to saving costs, we can prevent greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to sustainable energy supply in the country, because the energy resources are of the most important elements for sustainable development. The purpose of this study was investigation of the most important technologies for electricity generation from solar energy, and economic evaluation with emphasis on photovoltaic systems and sustainable development goals. Methodology: this is a review-based study, set based on library studies, analysis and integration of information and resources. Findings: Technologies for generating electricity from the sun are divided into three categories: photovoltaic, solar thermal concentrators and emerging technologies, including solar chimney and ponds. Among the three categories, photovoltaic technology, which acts based on sunlight conversion into electricity, has the highest growth; and many countries are recently using it. The importance of the use of photovoltaic technology is electricity generation directly and without the use of moving and chemical mechanisms. Conclusion: If energy is produced and consumed in a way that long-term human development is provided in all economic, social and ecological aspects, sustainable energy concept will be realized, therefore, sustainable energy supply is the necessity of sustainable development. Calculation of indicators of economic evaluation suggests that in the absence of subsidies from the government, utilizing solar energy to generate electricity is not economic; in such circumstances, the only solution is the payment of subsidies to achieve positive net worth.
