【 摘 要 】

The problem of the peakon and antipeakon solutions of the Novikov equation including the term $\omega u_x$ is studied. It is well known that, when $\omega =0$, the Novikov equation admits peakon and antipeakon solutions. In this study, it is shown via the homotopy analysis method that, even in the case where $\omega \ne 0$, the Novikov equation also admits peakon and antipeakon solutions.
