【 摘 要 】

Object and purpose of research. This paper discusses strength parameters of Project PV300VD mixed-navigation passenger vessel in order to describe feasibility assessment procedure for large ships with considerable bow overhang. Materials and methods. Following common methods of ship theory and design, as well as of naval structural mechanics, this study relies on Marine Engineering Bureau and LOTOS shipyard databases and on the rules of various classification societies.
