【 摘 要 】

Thepredatorybushcrickets SagaephippigeraFischerVonWaldheim,1846isthe largestIraqiorthopteransandoneofthemostactiveandsuccessfulpredatorsinthe Kurdistanregion.Thenymphsandadultspreyonallthestagesofvariousspeciesof insects.Twelveadultspecimenswerecollected fromErbilProvinceduringMay2018 andJune2021.Morphologicalstructuresoftheadultinsectsweredescribedand illustratedindetails;importanttaxonomiccharacteristicsofbodyregionswiththeir appendageswerechosen;andtheresultsindicatedtheimportanceofmorphological characteristics which confirmed the identification of this species correctly.
