【 摘 要 】

O artigo visa aproveitar-se da relaçãoentre o Direito e a Literatura para realizar umaanálise da obra “O Estrangeiro”, de Albert Camus.Tem como intenção levantar questionamentos éticospertinentes ao Direito por meio da narrativacamusiana. Busca analisar as proposições moraistrazidas pelo romance. Pretende também tecer críticasao funcionamento da justiça e à característicaopressora desta instituição social.The paper intends to take advantage ofthe academic interaction between Law andLiterature to analyze Albert Camus’ novel TheStranger. Within its aims is the discussion of ethicalalternatives relevant to the study of Law and theanalysis of the workings of Camus’ absurd justice.It also intends to demonstrate Camus’ critics toLaw as an oppressive and excludent institution.
