【 摘 要 】

The concept of truth is central in Lamartine’s work and it illustrates the renewal of lyricism in the 19th century. It is a key of his poetic inspiration and his relation to God and to the world. It is also part of his mystical conception of love. The question of pleasure is secondary and seems to have been concealed by the poet, but it encouraged materialistic interpretations of his works and favoured accusations of duplicity.
