【 摘 要 】

The paper focuses on the role formerly assigned to the mass media as educate, entertain and inform, then "the edge of time" played the role of social control in the interests of the public, however, in times of Globalization this function is diffuse, is compromised, because they seem to be more in line with the interests of capital.
