【 摘 要 】

This study aims to offer a wide perspective of 18th century Journalism in Cadiz, with special attention to the similarities and differences that it shows in respect to other journals from the rest of the country. We will pay particular attention to those newspapers from which we knew little or nothing until now, and were often published outside the law. Such is the case of the Correo de Cadiz and its supplement El Postillón, edited by Jose Lacroix, and of the Diario de Cádiz, whose person in charge was Juan Antonio Olavarrieta.
