【 摘 要 】

In this article is considered the „Cantata of Peace” by A. Starcea as a work that reflects the characteristics of the composer’s cantata creation, as well as a model of the Soviet cantatas of the early period in the development of this genre in Moldova. The author analyzes the features of the musical treatment of the poetic text and its structure, paying special attention to the musical thematism, the timbre-textured quality and architectonic form of the musical composition. In the end, is drawn the conclusion about its typological belonging to the cantata-song genre.
