【 摘 要 】

In this paper we will analyze two novels by Pola Oloixarac, Las teorías salvajes (2008) and Las constelaciones oscuras (2015), focusing on the discursive methods that establish their hermetic syntax. Our hypothesis is that the legible is one of the preoccupations of this author's narrative, insofar as these texts inquire as to the degree of legibility, in a determinate historical context, of certain textual processes in relation to the prevailing syntactical norms. The first section centers on the novel’s use of montage as a structuring device, specifically the juxtaposition of narrations as a means of making legible and dislocating the State’s own violent discourse. In the second, we investigate the programmatic dimension of the legible/illegible tension as a means of exposing the workings of the syntax of power. Finally, a genealogical link will be established with Jorge Luis Borges’ writing through the use each makes of dystopia as a genre that allows allegorical representation and reflection on the social order.
