【 摘 要 】

Common process to big cities from the Maghreb, the rural exodus of the previous decades left place to a centrifugal redeployment of the central districts towards dynamics suburbs, formal or informal. The analysis of the new forms of mobility, result from a recent collective research work on the suburbs in the Maghreb, highlights the social and spatial reconfigurations which ensue from residential strategies. The modalities of access to the housing, the emergence of middle classes and their own way of life, the appearance of news polarities, connected to the commercial practices, tend to increase the fragmentation of the urban spaces.
