【 摘 要 】

Se realiza un análisis del proceso evaluativo de los alumnos de 5to. año de Medicina de la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas de Pinar del Río, en su rotación por la asignatura oftalmología desde septiembre de 1996 hasta julio de 2000; se analizan la cantidad de evaluaciones frecuentes realizadas, así como las calificaciones obtenidas en examen práctico, teórico y nota final de la rotación, separando los alumnos en 2 grupos, internos y externos; se encontraron que fueron realizadas 8 evaluaciones como promedio a cada alumno, la calificación de 5 puntos predominó de forma significativa en examen práctico, teórico y nota final; no se encontraron diferencias significativas entre los internos y externos
An analysis of the evolutive process of the fifth year medical students from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Pinar del Rio that were studying Ophthalmology from 1996 to 2000.was made. The number of frequent evaluations as well as the marks obtained in the practical and theoretical exams and the final mark of this subject were analyzed. Students were divided into 2 groups: internal and external. Every student had 8 evaluations as an average. The mark predominating in the practical, theoretical and final test was 5 points. No significant differences were found between the external and internal students
