【 摘 要 】
The present article is the first attempt to trace some aspects of the personality and creative activity of Snejana Pîslari — a representative of the „middle-aged generation” of the composers from the Republic of Moldova. Graduate of the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts, continuer of the composition and teaching traditions of the renowned master Pavel Rivilis, she works in the domain of chamber instrumental, vocal, choral and orchestral music. She is the author of musical works that take a noteworthy place in native contemporary music. Apart from her composition activity, she works in the pedagogical realm, being a teacher at the „Stefan Neaga” Musical Colllege and at the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts. She manifests herself as a scientific researcher and publicist, participates in important artistic projects promoting national and universal cultural valies.
