Structural discourse analysis of the article by the President of the Russian Federation V. Putin “75 years of the great Victory: shared responsibility to history and the future”

【 摘 要 】

The main goal of the research is to reveal the content of the structural components of the discourse analysis of a political media source based on the example of the article by Russian President Vladimir Putin "75 years of the great Victory: shared responsibility to history and the future", published in the national Interest magazine on 18.06.2020 and in Rossiyskaya Gazeta on 19.06.2020. The paper defines a political media source and highlights, considers its semiotic and communicative functions. In the course of the discourse research of the article the author relies on the six-part structure of the discourse analysis of the political media text developed by him, according to which he distinguishes the intentional, actual (performance), axiological, contextual, psychological and "sedimentary" plans of discourse. Each plan of the discourse is illustrated by corresponding fragments of the text of the article under consideration. The author concludes that the article only partially answers the current questions of conceptual understanding of the nature and main results of the Second world war, since it does not stop at revealing the features of modern media technologies for conducting memory politics and memory wars, it does not speak about the significant role of the Communist party and Communists in the fight against Nazism.
