【 摘 要 】

Usually, it is stated that women’s language is characterized by indirec- tion and politeness. Since the politicians’ talk must be aggressive, these two fea- tures have been view like obstacle in relation to the introduction and success of women in politics. In order to determine the veracity of this topic, this article analyzes the impoliteness strategies used by men and women in sixty oral ques- tions in the Andalusian Parliament. The aim is to check if the interlocutor’s sex influences the linguistic formulation of the statement and, particularly, the im- politeness strategies used.
