【 摘 要 】
In the professional practice of law an apparent tension between the anthropocentric approach introduced by the Colombian Constitution of 1991, which calls for the respect and protection of human dignity and human rights; and the undeniable transformation that generates competitiveness and globalization in legal practice is presented. This requires innovation in the teaching of legal sciences from strategies leading to enhance educational quality and development of future lawyers, abilities and competencies that contribute to their adaptation to the labor market dynamics. This article searches to analyze the legal practice as a teaching strategy in law school in Colombia. For this purpose, a research of qualitative type, with hermeneutical approach, supported by documentary analysis, which concludes that this practice significantly impacts the educational process of teaching of legal science and allowsstudents to develop skills relevant to their future performance
