【 摘 要 】
Injection moulding is a process of manufacturing plastic product. A mould isprepared which consists of cavity, core andejectionsystem.Themoltenplasticmaterialisfedinthemouldandtakestheformofcavitypresentinthemould. This paperpresentsthe flow analysis(CFD) ofa part using Solid works 2020 which is to be produced using injection moulding to optimizetheprocess.Thedifferentparameterstooptimizetheprocessarecycletimewhichconsistsoffillingtime,coolingtime,ejectiontimeandmouldopeningandclosingtime;injectionpressure;materialmeltingtemperature;material viscosityand type of mould. The attempt ismade to complete the process in the least possible time subjected to practical and cost related constraints like max clamping force shouldnot exceed 100 tonneto save the cost of machine.
