【 摘 要 】

El aumento de presión ocular causado por tumores intraoculares fue descrito hace muchos años, pero como no son afecciones frecuentes y existen variados mecanismos que producen la hipertensión, en ocasiones el diagnóstico causal del glaucoma es difícil y prolongado. Se presenta un paciente que debuta con un glaucoma de ángulo cerrado agudo, originado por una tumoración maligna del tractus uveal.
The increase of intraocular pressure caused by intraocular tumors was described many years ago but since they are not frequent affections and mechanisms of hypertension are varied, then the causal diagnosis of glaucoma is difficult and lenghty. This paper presents a patient with an acute close-angle glaucoma originated from a malignant tumor in tractus uveal.
