【 摘 要 】

This text aims to illustrate through two distinct examples, in the feminine and in the masculine, forms and stakes of intercultural communication at work between France and Senegal. In fact, it’s a part of the summary about twenty years of research on immigrant women from West Africa (area of Fouta) and their different implications in the French society, then more recent workings about the tragic story of Senegalese “tirailleurs”, who have transited in the camp of Thiaroye, past who has reappeared in many ways in the French and Senegalese public spaces since the last twenty years.
