【 摘 要 】
Landscape public policies are designed to meet the requirements of people and the needs of the territories. Taking the European Landscape Convention as a repository of public action, the analysis of the inhabitants representations provides a material used for the evaluation of landscape public policy. From an experiment conducted on the Bordeaux's area planning documents, we propose a reading of representations based on two exploratory surveys to analyze the usefulness of the landscape policy of the Bordeaux's metropolitan master plan. Beyond the results of a sociological approach, meeting with residents leads us to wonder about the construction methods of the utility of landscape policies and participatory frameworks currently implemented in France. It follows from this approach, the finding of the need to overcome the normative framework of participation in strategic planning procedures to meet the democratic imperative of collective management of landscapes.
