【 摘 要 】

This study aimed at understand and interpretthe Bourdieu’s conceptions about field,habitusand capi-tal, applying them to the Nursing field. It was learned theNursing field is moved by interests, like other fields.Between them, there is the interest of knowledge mounting,in other words, scientific capital. Thehabitusconceptappeared to be appropriate to base the Nursing studies about the taking care process. In this way, the academic formation,the structure of the services, the professionals’ and clients’classhabitusneed to be constantly considered, questionedand confronted, in order to refresh the taking care processand make it attend the evolution of knowledging in thescientific field. However, being considered that thehabitusis mainly incorporate in the life’s firsts year, its job is morepromising in the children taking care process, bearing inmind the incorporation ofhabitusthat promote health andlife quality.
