【 摘 要 】

This title is likely to evoke in everybody's mind the notorious Ahhiyawa problem which has haunted Hittitology for nearly sixty years. True, the present contribution will deal with this prob­ lem but it will try to tackle the methodical approach rather than to offer yet another solution.
