【 摘 要 】

The aim of this paper is to analyse the interaction between « framing » adverbials and certain categories of referential markers (proper nouns, nominal anaphors). Non conditional preposed if / si clauses are a case in point. It is shown that framing adverbials and “full” referential expressions contribute to discourse structure in a journalistic corpus.
