【 摘 要 】

Iran as greatest energy consumer in Middle-East will face with problems due energy overuse more than another local countries. Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) as the key player of energy efficiency role have been able to decrease energy consumption and have made profitable business in many regions by Energy Performance Contracts (EPC) Projects. The purpose of this study is to offer strategies to develop EPC Project in iran. In this study, First, has investigated how to form ESCO market in 3 developing countries. Then has reviewed the regulations that impact on energy efficiency, status and barriers of Iranian ESCO market. Finally has established strategies contain regulations, short-term, medium-term and long-term policies to develop EPC Projects in Iran.
