【 摘 要 】
The phenomena of present-day dynamite the development of societies; which cannot exist at the edge of technical and scientific advances. This revolute the continuous scientific task, in a complex world of social relations, where many people have taken as paradigm, the construction of a better world, more fare and well balanced. The Cuban education is based more than ever in this paradigm. The education, as a fundamental way to socialize the subject, goes through different levels up to a moment of preparation to fulfill from the professional point of view, a social determined commission. One of the indicators of quality for the university measurement is constituted by its professors. Their function in their teaching activity is determined in a great extent by the leadership that plays within the formative process of the learners. Hence, the general objective of this investigation is: to value the role of the university professors in accordance to the present-day transformations in the Cuban higher education.
