【 摘 要 】
This study aims to analyze forms of subjectivity and constitution of the subject teacher in the book “Brilliant Parents Fascinating Teachers”, written by Augusto Cury. The theoretical and methodological basis of this research are the postulates of French discourse analysis, specifically notions of disciplinary practices and modes of subjectivity, enrolled in Foucault’s work. The analysis made possible to relate the self-help discourse to the institutional discourse established.
