Thisarticle presentstheresultsofthecalculationofenergyandCO2emission intensities inrelationto the unitofpassengertransportactivityfor various modesof publictransport,carsandmotorcyclesforWarsawin2015.Theresultsare comparedwithsimilarinformationfromothercountriesandregionsthatcomesfrom internationalcomparisonsandaresummarizedin this article. TheresultsforWarsaw showthatintensityindicatorsarecomparabletoothercities,withnoteworthy low-intensityindicatorsforcitypublic transport buses. Animportantachievementof the authoriscalculationoftheenergyand CO2emission intensitiesfor variousmodesof transport in Polish conditionsand for a single city:Warsaw.
