【 摘 要 】

The article investigates processes of interaction between traditional and modern means of expression in woodwind and brass musical performing art. The author analyzes the characteristics of the expressive palette of some works of the Romantic period and modern musical culture. The researcher investigates different approaches to using the expressive means of woo­dwind and brass musical performing art in various epochs. The traditional and modern means of expression are merged in modern professional performing art.
