【 摘 要 】

We intend to discuss in this article some relations between literature and cinema, from the novel “Um copo de cólera” by Raduan Nassar (1992) and its film adaptation, conducted by filmmaker Aluizio Abranches. Issues related to space will be treated in the narrative and modern issues related to the film adaptation. It seeks to investigate the proposition that modern narrative converges to the spatialization of form, and to analyze the importance of space in film language.
