【 摘 要 】

The objective of this study is to synthesise the silver nanoparticles with Capparis zeylanica leaves as antimicrobial and antiproliferation agent. Biosynthesized silver nanoparticles were subjected to characterization techniques like UV–Vis Spectroscopy, Fourier Transform spectroscopy, X-ray Dffraction analysis, SEM- EDAX and Transmission Electron Microscopy. Agar well method and MTT assay were used to investigate the antimicrobial and antiproliferative activity. The formation of silver nanoparticles was confirmed by UV–Vis absorption and the spectrm was observed at 310 and 395 nm. The functional groups present in the synthesized silver nanoparticles were confirmed with FT-IR spectrum. The crystallinity and uniform spherical size of the particles was observed by XRD, FE-SEM and TEM analysis. Purity of the silver nanoparticle was measured by EDAX. The results of antimicrobial and antiproliferative potency of synthesized silver nanopaticles with C. zeylanica leaf extract have admirable antimicrobial and antiproliferative activity against pathogenic microbes and A549 cancer cell lines respectively. Therefore, biosynthesized silver nanoparticles showed excellent results towards antimicrobial and antiproliferative activities. In addition, it is a facile, cost effective, eco-friendly and green method.
