【 摘 要 】

This study aimed to investigate the predominant multiple intelligences of Education College students at Ibb University and its relationship with their academic specialization. It also aimed to find out the differences among students in the multiple intelligences scale which attributed to the variables of academic level (first and second levels) and gender (males and females). 451 students from various departments of levels one and four participated in the study. The researcher used Mckenzie scale for gathering data. The findings of the study revealed that the personal intelligence was the most common type, followed by social, kinesthetic, spatial, logical, linguistic, natural and musical intelligences.  It also revealed that most students chose specializations according to their multi intelligences. The findings also indicated that there were statistically significant differences at level 0.01 between students of the first level and fourth level in a total mean of multi intelligences scale in favor of fourth level students while there were  no statistically significant differences at level 0.01 between male and female in a total mean of multi intelligences scale.
