【 摘 要 】
General idea of minimizing the relative value of measurement errors resulting from quantization (value axis) and discrimination (time axis) is presented. It's based on the floating point conversion (FPC) thanks to which the reading of a digital instrument always consists of significant digits without zeros in front. Simulations for different conditions of measurement are presented and the errors occurring in frequency/time measurements are compared. The analysis for digital instruments (A/D converters, counters for intelligent sensors) is performed. The stable relative error is the most common result.
