【 摘 要 】
The performance of the organizations depends on the quality of its humans resources (NAQVI, 2009). Inthismatter,theconcernwiththementalmodelsandtheteamskillsdemonstratestobean essentialactivitytoleverageabetterorganizationalperformance.Fromanexploratorystudywith twohundredandninetyfourmanagersofprivateorganizationsfromseveralsegmentsofbusiness locatedinthemountainregionofRioGrandeofSouth,thisstudyobjectiveistoidentifyhow managersconfiguretheirmentalmodelsabouttheconceptofmanagerandhaveabetter understandingaboutwhichskillsaremorepresentinthismanagers.Beingthementalmodelsa systemicconstruction,itmaybeconfiguredfromtheassortmentofsensitive,symbolic,cognitive, emotionalandaxiomaticelements(DETONI,2005;SCHUKERetal.,2009),thatforthemanagers analyzedthereisabiggeremphasistotherationaldimensionandasmalloneontheemotional dimension.Theprofessionalskillsthatprevailintheirmentalmodelsarethemanagerialand technic or functional. What was also observedwas that the human skills, such as ethics, initiative, theawarenessofqualityatwork,thecreativity,theopeningto changesandthelearningarethe skills that are more encouraged and appreciated by the managers on the team. The mental models andtheskillsarefactorsthatinfluencesthebehaviorofthemanagersandconsequentlyonthe organizational performance.
