【 摘 要 】

This paper discusses the development of private farms of the population, as well as their potential for the development of agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan. On the basis of a sociological survey conducted in several municipalities of the region, identified the main features of the prospects of smallholders and the conditions for their transformation into the peasant (farmer's) economy.
