【 摘 要 】

The goods inventories are considerable sources which are useful to develop researches related to political, economic and cultural correlations of every society in a determined space and period. The resulted evidences make possible an accurate acknowledgment about the collecting, deeply related to the aesthetics’ evolution and to the historical and artistic trend’s development during the centuries. On the basis of this premises, this study presents unpublished information about the collecting of paintings gathered up by Melchor Portocarrero Lasso de la Vega, 3rd count of Monclova (1636-1705), in Lima at the beginning of the eighteenth century.
