【 摘 要 】

For recognition of possibilities of development of cultural tоurism in the Municipality of Savski venac in Belgrade, it is necessary to analyse available potentials as preconditions for development of turism as a very important and profitable sector of the economy. Apart from well-developed transportation infrastructure network and catering industry, historic and cultural heritage is of primary importance for tourism development in old city centers. In this article, an attempt will be made to assess if and to what extent cultural and historic heritage of the Municipality of Savski venac could be considered as an impetus for tourism development.
