Rare Association between Kikuchi's Disease and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

【 摘 要 】

Histiocytic necrotizing lymphadenitis or Kikuchi's disease is arare, benign condition of unknown etiology, which is usuallycharacterized by cervical lymphadenopathy and fever. Thisdisease is rarely associated with systemic lupus erythematosus.Here we describe, for the first time in Iran, a patient whodeveloped systemic lupus erythematosus about 3 years afterthe initial diagnosis of Kikuchi's disease.
