【 摘 要 】

The paper has how objetive to analyze the thinking of CEPAL in the 50 starting from your main theses, as analysis of underdevelopmentandnotionofcenterperiphery,andtheir proposals: protectionismandplanningofthe economy, reducing inflation, regional integration import substitution. Finally, some features of this thought that influenced the Brazilian political thought, such as: structuralism, the predominance of a macro perspective and the development of a peculiar view of history through historical-structuralist developed by the Commission and the reduced role, or almost nil, the social actors in their analysis.
