【 摘 要 】

At the United Nations Millennium Summit (2000), the Millen-nium Declaration was drawn up and approved by the member states at theGeneral Assembly. A closer look at the Millennium Development Goals showsthat many of the essential elements of cooperativism are included. This articleclarifies these goals and compares them with the cooperative principles, study-ing the case of Central America in depth.
