【 摘 要 】

Abstract: Raising entrepreneurship by taking advantage of electricity. This research is aimed to describe the entrepreneurship pattern in rural community, the efficiency and effectiveness of usage of electricity in rural community for raising entrepreneurship, and its variables contributing their behavior in entrepreneurship. The subject of the research are some small entrepreneurship communities in rural areas that cover 110 respondents throughout Malang, Blitar, Tulungagung, Sidoarjo, Kediri, Probolinggo, Nganjuk, and Bondowoso.  The result of its descriptive analysis shows that the usage of electricity for raising entrepreneurship remains low. Meanwhile, the correlation and regression analysis shows that there is positive-significant relationship between socio-economic status and the knowledge of electricity (within group or individual) over its behavior of entrepreneurship. The overall results of this research notify that the community’s perspective in the usage of electricity is an important factor as predictor of electricity-based entrepreneurship.
