【 摘 要 】

The objective of this study was to analyze the correlations of anger (expression or total score) and its factors (manifestation, and external and internal control) with frequency and damage due to victimization and perpetration among women and men. The expression of anger scale (STAXI-2- AX) and the suffered and exerted couple violence questionnaire (CVSE) were applied to a nonprobability incidental sample of 120 men and 120 women. The mean of age was 35.41 years (SD = 9.63). It was found that anger correlated more with perpetration than victimization. The correlations between victimization were higher with damage that frequency. Conversely, perpetration was higher than in damage. Correlations were higher in men than in women. The anger factor higher correlated was the manifestation. We conclude that there is a significant association between anger and violence, especially violence perpetrated in men.
